Keep Ventanata Grass from Spreading into Colorado
“Although it hasn't been reported in Colorado yet, Ventanata dubia is in Utah and is now found in Wyoming,” said Steve Ryder, State Weed Coordinator for the State of Colorado. “ Grasses are often hard to identify, but let's keep an eye out for this one.”
If you suspect you have identified Ventenata grass, notify your country weed coordinator or submit samples using the spotter form and specimen collection form found on the Colorado Department of Agriculture’s website.
